秩父銘仙と蜆（シジミ）の貝殻で作ったペンダントです。
銘仙に包まれた蜆が、胸元で静かに揺れます。

秩父銘仙は、埼玉県西部「秩父地方」の伝統的な絹織物で、大正時代から昭和初期にかけて広く親しまれました。
100年以上受け継がれてきた技法は高く評価され、国指定の伝統的工芸品に選定されています。

紐の長さ：約55〜65cm
ペンダントヘッド：約6cm

Chichibu-Meisen is a traditional silk textile from the Chichibu region of Saitama, Japan. It became widely popular in the early 20th century and is known for its unique texture, created by dyeing the threads before weaving.
The technique has been preserved for over 100 years and is recognized as a Traditional Craft of Japan.

This piece combines a natural shijimi shell—once used in everyday Japanese cooking—with beautiful silk fabric, creating a small object that reflects the spirit of daily life and craftsmanship.
