木版染めの御朱印帳です。
「宝尽くし」と呼ばれる、縁起の良い宝物を集めた吉祥文様をもとに、秩父の風土に合わせて再構築しました。

テーマは「大地の記憶」「人の営み」「自然の便り」。
地質・自然・産業を通して、秩父が育んできた“宝”を表現しています。

宝尽くしは、室町時代に中国から伝わった「八宝」を日本風にアレンジした文様で、幸福・長寿・富などの願いが込められています。

本品は木製スタンプを一つひとつ彫り、布に捺印した後、型染めで色を重ねて仕上げています。
手作業ならではの滲みやかすれを含め、すべて一点ものです。

木版染めは古くから続く技法で、現在もインドをはじめ各地で受け継がれています。
素材には、環境に配慮した無漂白コットンを使用しています。

Handprinted Goshuin book using traditional woodblock dyeing.
The design is based on Takara-zukushi, an auspicious Japanese motif depicting various symbolic treasures, reinterpreted to reflect the landscapes and culture of Chichibu.

Its theme expresses “memories of the land,” “human activity,” and “messages from nature,” representing the local environment, industry, and natural heritage.

Takara-zukushi originates from the “Eight Treasures” motif introduced from China during the Muromachi period, later adapted in Japan as a symbol of happiness, longevity, and prosperity.

Each piece is individually printed using hand-carved wooden stamps, then layered with dyeing techniques.
Subtle variations such as bleeding and unevenness are part of the handmade process, making each item unique.

Woodblock printing is a traditional technique still practiced in various regions, including India today.
The fabric used is unbleached cotton, selected with environmental consideration.
